As international passenger transport is still allowed only at a minimum level and with various additional conditions due to measures to contain the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, the exchange of postal items with foreign countries is also delayed. Any timelines and quality standards for delivery of postal items have now been suspended at international level and are not in effect. Deliveries are also hampered by congestion of items and queues at international transit airports. In these exceptional circumstances Eksprespasts urges customers to be understanding and to take into account the longer delivery time of postal items, which cannot be determined precisely in all cases.

Eksprespasts currently provides deliveries to all previously available countries of the world, it must be taken into account, however, that route planning takes longer: items that cannot be dispatched immediately are stored in the sorting centre of Latvijas Pasts and sent as soon as it becomes possible.
