The strike of Canadian postal operator Canada Post, which has been ongoing since November 15, 2024, has suspended the exchange of postal items with the aforementioned country, according to information provided by the International Post Corporation.
The Canadian postal operator is temporarily storing all items received since November 15, 2024 in its warehouses due to the strike of employees. In response to the request of Canada Post, the delivery of postal items to Canada has been suspended from November 27, 2024.
Export items with Canada as the destination will be stored by Latvijas Pasts at its sorting center in order to be sent to the addressees without delay as soon as the strike is stopped.
